Support & Licensing

SDK-SUP-011 v1.0

Dyber offers flexible licensing tiers designed to match every stage of your post-quantum cryptography journey — from initial evaluation through enterprise-scale production deployment. Every license includes access to the full QuantaCore SDK, documentation, and example applications. Paid tiers add technical support, FIPS-validated builds, priority bug fixes, and dedicated engineering assistance.

Overview #

The QuantaCore SDK is licensed per-device for hardware deployments and per-organization for simulator-only usage. Licenses are tied to the QUAC 100 device serial number and can be transferred between devices with support assistance. All licenses include perpetual rights to the SDK version purchased, with optional annual subscriptions for updates, upgrades, and support.

Volume pricing: Orders of 10+ devices qualify for volume discounts. Contact sales@dyber.com for a custom quote.

Evaluation License #

The Evaluation License provides 90 days of full API access using the software simulator. No hardware purchase required. It is ideal for proof-of-concept projects, internal assessments, academic research, and competitive benchmarking against existing cryptographic infrastructure.

What's Included

Full QuantaCore SDK with all APIs (Universal API, OpenSSL provider, PKCS#11, all language bindings), software simulator for all supported platforms (Linux, Windows, macOS, Docker), complete example application suite, and access to the online documentation and community forum.

Limitations

Simulator only — no hardware driver or FIPS-validated builds. Performance reflects software implementation speeds, not hardware acceleration. The evaluation license cannot be used in production environments. Evaluation licenses are limited to one per organization and can be extended once for an additional 90 days by contacting eval@dyber.com.

# Request an evaluation license
$ curl -X POST https://portal.dyber.com/api/eval \
    -d '{"name":"Jane Doe","org":"Acme Corp","email":"jane@acme.com"}' \

# Activate the license key
$ quac-license activate EVAL-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

Developer License #

The Developer License is designed for engineering teams building and testing post-quantum integrations. It includes hardware driver support for up to 2 QUAC 100 devices, making it suitable for development and staging environments.

What's Included

Everything in Evaluation, plus hardware driver and device support for 1–2 QUAC 100 devices, email technical support with 48-hour SLA (business hours), 24-hour advance notification of security advisories, and access to pre-release SDK builds (beta channel).

Use Cases

Development and test environments, CI/CD pipeline integration with hardware-in-the-loop testing, staging environments for pre-production validation, and small-scale internal deployments.

Professional License #

The Professional License is built for production deployments. It includes FIPS 140-3 validated builds, priority support with 24-hour SLA, and integration assistance to ensure smooth deployment in regulated environments.

What's Included

Everything in Developer, plus support for up to 10 QUAC 100 devices, FIPS 140-3 validated SDK and firmware builds, email and phone technical support with 24-hour SLA (including weekends for severity-1 issues), priority bug fix queue, 48-hour advance security advisory notification, 2 seats in Dyber training courses, and optional paid custom integration services.

Use Cases

Production web server TLS termination, certificate authority infrastructure, payment processing systems requiring PCI-DSS compliance, government and defense deployments requiring FIPS certification, and enterprise VPN and zero-trust infrastructure.

Enterprise License #

The Enterprise License provides unlimited device support with a dedicated Technical Account Manager (TAM), custom integration engineering, and the most comprehensive SLA for organizations deploying QUAC 100 at scale across critical infrastructure.

What's Included

Everything in Professional, plus unlimited QUAC 100 device support, dedicated Technical Account Manager with quarterly business reviews, 4-hour SLA for all severity levels (24/7), 40 hours per year of custom integration engineering (architecture review, code audit, deployment planning), 72-hour advance security advisory notification, unlimited training seats, optional source code access for the SDK under NDA, custom firmware builds for specific platform requirements, and direct access to the Dyber engineering team via private Slack channel.

Use Cases

Hyperscaler and cloud provider deployments, financial services infrastructure (trading platforms, payment networks), telecommunications infrastructure (5G/6G security), government classified network infrastructure, and multi-datacenter enterprise deployments.

OEM License #

The OEM License enables technology partners to embed the QuantaCore SDK and QUAC 100 hardware into their own products and distribute to their customers. This license includes redistribution rights, source code access, and custom branding capabilities.

What's Included

Everything in Enterprise, plus redistribution rights for the SDK as part of OEM products, full source code access for the SDK and language bindings, white-label and custom branding options, co-marketing and joint go-to-market support, dedicated engineering liaison for integration projects, custom SLA negotiated per agreement, and escrow arrangements for source code and build systems.
